Hey Guys, long time no chat. This is so ironic seeing as the last time I posted I believe I vowed that I was going to be consistent and post every week. I could start to talk about how life got really busy blah blah blah but that would honestly be an excuse as I believe people will make time for what is important to them. So, here’s the lore. I lost sight of the importance of this blog. I lost sight of my why. When you lose sight of why you do something you lose the will to do it at all. (Go ahead and write that down !)
For example, in faith , if I lose sight of WHY I am a disciple of Jesus then I will stop following Him ! But I know my why and my why is important. I needed to take a step back to rediscover the why of HER NATURE IS NURTURE. "Her nature is nurture" is a name that I believe was given to me by God when I was working my first ever job in a chocolate factory in 2021. I pondered and prayed for a long time on what the Lord wanted me to do with this title. I started a blog page , the one you are reading now. I know in my heart that this blog page is only the beginning of something greater than me , greater than I could ever ask , think or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20). I have ample faith that I will see these wonderful things come to pass but that does not negate the fact that faith without works is dead. I have not been faithful in stewarding my "little" so how can God trust me with much? There are big dreams planted in my heart with regards to Her Nature is Nurture and I guess the size of those dreams paralysed me. I looked at them and saw they were bigger than myself so and took a step back instead of surrendering them to the one who makes ALL things possible.
So Hi , my name is Jennifer, and I am a newly qualified registered general nurse. I am so glad you are here, and I welcome you to the humble beginnings of Her Nature Is Nurture. It's not just a name it’s a movement , it's more than just a blog it’s a beginning. Our anchor verse is Philippians 1:6 . My God who has started this work through me will surely bring it to a perfect end.
