For the Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • Rooster potatoes
  • Sunflower/vegetable oil
  • Seasonings: smoked paprika, Maggi cubes, parsley, black pepper, garlic powder
  • Half a teaspoon of bicarbonate soda

Spicy Honey Buffalo Chicken Wings:

  • Fresh chicken wings
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 150 ml of Frank's Hot Sauce
  • Sesame seeds
  • Same seasonings as the potato wedges

Instructions

Potato Wedges

  1. Prep: Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes into wedges. Pat dry with kitchen paper.
  2. Season: Toss the wedges in a bowl with oil, bicarbonate soda, and your seasonings. Shake or stir to coat evenly.
  3. Cook: Bake or air fry at 180°C for 20 minutes until crispy and golden.

Chicken Wings

  1. Prep: Wash and dry the wings thoroughly. Place in a bowl.
  2. Marinate: Add bicarbonate soda, seasonings, and mix. Let marinate for 1 hour in the fridge (optional).
  3. Cook: Bake or air fry at 180°C for 25 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Buffalo Sauce: Simmer honey and hot sauce in a pan for 3 minutes. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce to coat.
  5. Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds for a finishing touch.
